As we close down our operations for the winter break, it is exciting to see what we have accomplished over the course of the fall. Our operation facility has now been open for 15 months and we’ve made tremendous strides.
Our commercial volumes more than doubled this season and our overall efficiency has improved drastically with investment in new tools and countless operational improvements made by our experienced operations team on the ground.
We have also made improvements in quality. We run at least one quality control sample with every seven commercial samples so we have lots of data to track and our variability continues to go down. Quality is the central tenet of what we provide with our lab so we are very excited to that we were able to push the limits in this area even more.
Our delivery times have also improved substantially this year. The turnaround time for standard laboratory analysis this fall was 1.8 business days. This year we launched a “Priority Guaranteed” service which prioritizes samples in our lab work scheduling. The average turnaround time for this service is exactly one day.
Over the winter we will be continuing the improve our efficiency, expand our capacity for the next year, improve quality and work on new products for coming years.
